The Miraculous Vaccine
Conversations having to do with the vaccine can feel tense and like a non-starter. With a lack of trust and tons of misinformation, how can people be sure about the vaccine? We decided to look to the experts - in science and faith. First, we talked with Dr. Carl Vartian, Infectious Disease Specialist at HCA Houston Healthcare and we included a PSA from Pope Francis and other Catholic leaders from around the world encouraging people to get vaccinated. We also share what University of St. Thomas-Houston is doing to encourage vaccinations on campus.

Culture and the New Normal
The pandemic has been a time that has allowed people the opportunity to slow down, reflect and reevaluate their life. Russell Richard is among those people who took advantage of that opportunity and actively processed what was happening around him. Those observations have become a book, "Beyond Words: An Intersection of Philosophy, Inspiration and Poetry."
In this episode of For Such a Time as This, Larry sits down with Russell to discuss the novel. They take stock of all of the years' big moments and the changes that have come around because of them. They also ponder the cultural change that has come about because of the pandemic and ask how we move forward with a new normal, learning from all we learned.
Back to School!
Students have spent the last year and a half taking classes from home via Zoom. Now, with the opportunity to take classes in person - with the proper precautions of course - students are looking forward to all of the benefits that come along with in person classes.
In this special episode of BOLD Isabel talks with incoming freshman and student leaders during orientation to see what they are looking forward to the most.
Episode 6: Romantic Comedies
Romantic comedies are the best and we were so intrigued if others felt the same way. This year, we sponsored Café Catholica in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and asked young adults about their favorite Rom-Coms.
We’ll also get some insight into why we love romantic comedies from Counselor Larry Freeney with Rejoice Counseling Apostolate. If you love a good Rom-Com, check out this episode of Agape & Eros.
