The Bible in a Year in Spanish w/ Rev. Dempsey Rosales Acosta | Napa Institute Conference Series

The Rev. Dempsey Rosales Acosta S.S.L., S.T.D. embraces both digital media and how we proclaim the faith in various cultures. Fr. Dempsey was recently featured on “The Bible in a Year” podcast in Spanish with Ascension Press and he is growing Spanish languages theology programs at University of St. Thomas-Houston significantly. In this episode, Fr. Dempsey has a conversation with Dr. Richard Ludwick, president of University of St. Thomas-Houston, at the 12th Annual Napa Institute Conference in Napa Valley California. They discuss Fr. Dempsey projects and how he is helping to shape students to minister to others in their native languages.

Fr. Dempsey is the Director of the Center Semillero, is an Associate Tenured Professor at UST, Miller Chair of Catholic Studies at UST, and is a professor in the UST Theology Department.

Activating the Laity for God’s Mission w/ Fr. Eric Cadin | Napa Institute Conference Series

Fr. Eric Cadin, who spent a year living in a tent in Oahu to surf before joining seminary, is now activating the laity to inspire college students and vocations in the Archdiocese of Boston.

Fr. Eric is the Director of the Office of Vocations and Director of the Office of University Missions for the Archdiocese of Boston. He sat down with MAX Studios Creative Director Darnell Miller for a conversation at the 12th Annual Napa Institute Conference in Napa Valley, California. With a fervor for life and ministry, Fr. Eric shares how he engages lay leaders as examples for young professionals, his vocation story and why it is so special to connect Christians for the mission of Jesus Christ.
